Marguerite Lambert is the Grants Management Associate of the Rasmuson Foundation. She joined the Foundation staff after retiring from the State of Alaska system, having worked at the University of Alaska Anchorage and the Alaska Marine Highway in Haines, Alaska. Ms. Lambert received a BA at the University of Michigan, and then pursued graduate study in art history at the New York University Institute of Fine Art. Her first job in New York City was at the Metropolitan Museum, and she subsequently worked at the Guggenheim Museum as a research assistant and then at the Jewish Museum as a photographer. She also worked as a freelance photographer, photographing contemporary artwork and artists in their studios. After leaving New York, she lived in Colorado, California, and Hawaii before arriving in Alaska in 1976.
