The Foraker Group
The Foraker Group has three major goals to help enhance Alaska's nonprofit sector. First, to build the state's philanthropic infrastructure by helping nonprofit organizations function at capacity. Second, to provide high-quality, cost-effective technical services. Third, to increase the skills of the volunteers and staff working in the sector.

Alaska Humanities Forum
The mission of the Alaska Humanities Forum is to use the wisdom and methods of the humanities to enrich the civic, intellectual and cultural life of all Alaskans.
First Alaskans Institute (FAI)
FAI's mission is to help develop the capacities of the Alaska Native people and communities. It will act as a facilitator, a convener and a catalyst of action by the larger Native community - focusing attention on critical issues and raising them to a higher level of public consciousness and information.

The Denali Commission
The Denali Commission is an innovative federal-state partnership established by Congress in 1998 to provide critical utilities, infrastructure, and economic support throughout Alaska. Its focus encompasses five major categories of improvements: Energy; Health Care Facilities; Training; Intergovernmental Coordination; and Other Infrastructure.
Administration for Native Americans (ANA)
ANA promotes the goal of social and economic self-sufficiency of American Indians, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, and other Native American Pacific Islanders, including Native Samoans. Self-sufficiency is that level of development at which a Native American community can control and internally generate resources to provide for the needs of its members and meet its own economic and social goals.
Economic Development Administration (EDA)
EDA's mission is to enhance community success in attracting private capital investment to generate jobs, help retain existing jobs, and stimulate industrial and commercial growth in economically-distressed areas of the United States. EDA assistance is available to rural and urban areas of the Nation experiencing high unemployment, low income, or other severe economic distress.
Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)
HUD's mission is to help facilitate a decent, safe, and sanitary home and suitable living environment for every American through creating opportunities for homeownership; providing housing assistance for low-income persons; working to create, rehabilitate and maintain the nation's affordable housing; enforcing the nation's fair housing laws; helping the homeless; spurring economic growth in distressed neighborhoods; and helping local communities meet their development needs.
National Endowment for the Arts
The National Endowment for the Arts enriches our Nation and its diverse cultural heritage by supporting works of artistic excellence, advancing learning in the arts, and strengthening the arts in communities throughout the country.
National Endowment for the Humanities
NEH is an independent grant-making agency of the United States government dedicated to supporting research, education, preservation, and public programs in the humanities.
US Department of Agriculture Rural Development
Rural Development is committed to helping improve the economy and quality of life in all of rural America. Its financial programs support such essential public facilities and services as water and sewer systems, housing, health clinics, emergency service facilities and electric and telephone service. It promotes economic development by supporting loans to businesses through banks and community-managed lending pools. Rural development also provides technical assistance to help communities undertake community empowerment programs.

Alaska Housing Finance Corporation
Provides Alaskans with access to safe, quality, affordable housing.
Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority
Provides leadership in advocacy, planning, implementing and funding of a comprehensive integrated mental health program to improve the lives and circumstances of its beneficiaries. It is the only organization of its kind in Alaska dedicated to assisting those who experience mental illness; mental retardation or similar disabilities; chronic alcoholism with psychosis; or Alzheimer's disease or related dementia.
Alaska State Council on the Arts
The Rasmuson Foundation collaborates with The Alaska State Council on the Arts for the Harper Performing Arts Touring Fund. The Council, a continuing partnership between the public and private sectors, champions an enriched atmosphere for lifelong participation in Alaska's rich artistic diversity.

Philanthropy Northwest's mission is to create stronger Northwest communities through effective philanthropies. Its core purpose is to strengthen the philanthropy of its members located in or funding throughout Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia, Canada.
